Sophomore Spencer McGraw named to leadership conferences


We want to extend a huge congratulations to sophomore Spencer McGraw for being accepted into the Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership conference and the 2019 Entrepreneurial Leadership Institute. The Entrepreneurial Leadership Institute’s purpose is to develop future business leaders and entrepreneurs in Southern and Eastern Kentucky. High school freshmen, sophomores and juniors from throughout The Center for Rural Development’s 45-county service area in a highly competitive process. The program is an intensive, weeklong program focused on developing creativity, teamwork, business and leadership skills.

The HOBY mission is to inspire and prepare future young leaders for a life dedicated to leadership, service, and innovation. HOBY empowers young people to dream big, make an impact, and change the world.

The leadership programs are designed to prepare students to turn their ideas and goals into reality.
